Aren't they positively smashing? Pompoms are so fun, and also quite therapeutic. You can just wind it around the circle of cardboard as long as you like while watching something silly (my choice was Sex & the City), and it's all very easy once you know the technique.
You need two circles of cardboard with slits and lots of wool. In the instruction video I found, it said that the way to get the really puffy pompoms you need a special brush, but I might experiment with something I don't have to buy...
Now I've used some unwanted wool and can use it for any purpose I choose, maybe an accessory or maybe I could use it on a bag that needs a little bit of adornment.
