Apparently a tradition at weddings is to give your guests sugared almonds. I still don't understand why. Anyway, at a friend's recent wedding, everyone at our table had them and they had been decorated with crepe paper and circles of tulle. I immediately jumped on this as a recycling opportunity (and probably because of my tulle obsession) and asked if anyone didn't want their tulle and ended up with ten circles. I'm sure quite a lot of decorations are wasted so I felt like I was doing my bit in extending the use of something that's only used on one day. I saw a video on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ur7N9j5lCLY&list=FLFrOd3khlXT8pgRRodZ_10g&index=5&feature=plpp_video) about how to make a puffy organza flower but made with tulle. The end result looks like a scruffy looking flower but when I use it on an accessory or a dress it will look super fetch.
Hm. I should've asked what was going to happen to the ribbons on the chairs.
