I have this amazing dress that sortof doesn't really fit.
It's a lavender purple halterneck and its so retro and lovely I schemed my way to make it fit me. At the back it had a zip and two buttons and when closed it made a size 8. However, I changed the buttons into another two button holes, threaded some pretty ribboning through them and laced it up like that. Voila. Dress is now able to fit properly. Thwarted you dress.
Another idea for a garment you want to make fit you, for instance on that same dress I could have taken out the zip and made even more button holes and done lacing up the whole way.
Maybe a skirt is not quite right. Put some splits in, or pleats rather. Extra panels can create a more visually desirable look.
Jackets or shirts have arms that are too short for you? Just roll it up and make it three quarter length.
There are so many different ways to force your clothing to fit you.
